It is a mainly green parrot that is about 33 centimeters (13 inches) long and weighs about 340 grams. His blue and yellow feathers on his head vary in range between individuals. The upper lower jaw is partially colored (grey) and partly dark gray. It has orange feathers in the wings and tail, which can be seen in flight. Male and female are identical in exterior appearance
